Owen River Lodge has a world wide reputation for excellence, however we don’t have as high a profile in New Zealand, our overseas guests tend to book a year or two in advance and with 50% of our guests having stayed with us before, we are usually (thankfully) fully booked.

As a result of New Zealand’s borders being closed, we are offering fellow Kiwis some fantastic fishing deals for the 2020_21 fishing season.

We can customise a special kiwi angler fishing package to suit you, some examples are :

• 3 night / 2 day guided fishing adventure @ $2,225 per person, twin share.

• 4 night / 3 day guided fishing adventure @ $3,100 per person, twin share.

• 5 night / 4 day guided fishing adventure @ $3,975 per person, twin share.

• 6 night / 5 day guided fishing adventure @ $4,850 per person, twin share.

• 7 night / 6 day guided fishing adventure @ $5,700 per person, twin share.

These packages include all meals i.e. pre-dinner canapés, stunning three-course dinners, cooked English breakfasts, picnic lunch, Neudorf house wine & beer (with meals), Wi-Fi, guided fishing and the use of all lodge facilities.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

To secure your booking we require a deposit of 50% of the accommodation & guiding tariff - We accept Visa, MasterCard & American Express.

Owen River Lodge is a small boutique lodge and cancellations affect us greatly.
If your reservation is cancelled within 90 Days of arrival there will be a charge of 25% of the total accommodation & guiding tariff or package rate.
Within 60 Days of arrival, there will be a charge of 50%
Within 45 Days of arrival, there will be a charge of 75%
Within 30 Days of arrival, there will be a charge of 100%
We strongly advise guests to take out travel insurance to protect themselves against unexpected changes to their travel plans.

In case of cancellation due to Covid 19

If you’re unable to make a trip due to official government travel restrictions implemented because of the Covid-19 coronavirus, all payments will be credited to a future stay at Owen River Lodge.
This credit will be valid for 24 months.
