Peter will be giving fly rod & trout Spey rod casting lessons daily, he tells me he’d also be delighted to give some photography classes.

Late last summer, myself, and partner Monique, were guests of Felix’s at Owen River Lodge in the Nelson district of New Zealand’s South Island. What a great experience it was to stay in this world class lodge. The wining, dining, and company alone made it pretty special, but of course the main game is the fly-fishing.
I fished with a different guide most days (my choice) and they were great company and very professional. We fished different waters every day, from the hellishly challenging, where to get a fish to look at your fly was a win of sorts, to the straightforward, where we were into fish all day long – we even choppered into a section of a river that would have been a 5 day walk just to get to. It was a brilliant week, come and join me as a return to Owen River Lodge in March 2018.
