It's the middle of winter and the lodge is closed until the start of the new fishing season on October 1. I've now finally got the time to reflect on last season. Interestingly enough, given the world wide economic meltdown – we had our busiest season ever!
So, I'd like to thank all our guests for their continued support. Every season sees a large percentage of guests returning to Owen River Lodge. It's more like welcoming old friends – or as we call them "repeat offenders." Our forward bookings for next season point towards another busy season with some dates in February already close to being booked out. |

| Jim & Naomi from Santa Monica stayed with us in late February and fished for 3 days with Stephen. | |

| Two fishing buddies - Randy & Joe from California paid us a lightening visit in mid March. Due to adverse weather conditions they had some pretty tough fishing, but Joe managed to land a couple of nice fish. | |

| Kevin & Richard were also fishing buddies from California who stayed & fished with us in late March. They had several memorable days fishing with Steve. | |

| Early April saw Joe & Juliet from England spend a few days at Owen River Lodge. Joe, fishing with Steve – one of our guides – had "one of those days" on a local river and landed a monster brown that tipped the scales at just over 10lb. |

| Peter from Western Australia stayed with us for a week in mid April. Peter was guided by Lindsay and had a sensational time landing lots of quality brown trout. | |
